Preparation and characterization of bulk uranium oxides for catalysis

The physicochemical and catalytic properties of bulk uranium oxides prepared by the thermal decomposition of uranyl nitrate [UO 2 (NO 3 ) 2 ·6H 2 O] and precipitation from an aqueous solution of this salt are reported.
