CFD MESHING IN COLLABORATIVE AND CUSTOMIZED ENVIRONMENTS

In order to meet the goal of extending the benefits of CFD from dedicated analysts to product designers the Gridgen meshing software was enhanced through the addition of a scripting language and related utilities such as journaling. Thus enhanced, specialized meshing applications have been developed using design terminology in the GUI instead of CFD jargon. These specialized meshers can be made virtually automatic, removing one of the largest barriers to full integration of CFD into the design environment.
