The Status and Strategy on ALM of Banks in China

Asset liability management,or ALM,is a most influential operation and management method for modern commercial banks.The efficiency of ALM affects the competitive ability of banks directly.ALM of Chinese Commercial bank has been not only implemented late,but also developed imperfectly which has affected our banks′ competitive ability to a great extent.Currently,with our banks opening to the outside of the world,and the competition among banks has been becoming more and more drastic,it′s very important to analyze the ALM status,find the problems and improve our banks′ ALM with a definite purpose.
