Colorless and Directionless Coherent WDM-PON Architecture with Extended Star Topology Using a Self-healing for Bidirectional Link Protection

We propose a colorless and directionless coherent WDM-PON architecture having extended star topology using a self-healing function for simple and robust mobile fronthaul against catastrophic disaster, and experimentally showed that 8λ x 100 Gb/s signals can be reconnected after double and triple access link failures.
