AbstractThe Regulations on Medical Record Management in Medical Institutions 2002 was promulgated, so the medical record management in our country really had laws to follow and abide by. In the 2013 version revised on this basis, it was further clarified that the electronic medical records (EMRs) and paper-based medical records have the same effect, and the corresponding regulations specific to the sealing of uncompleted medical records and the sealed original medical records were added, as well as to the provisions and the new and modified articles related to the storage of medical records of an institution when the medical institution changed the name or was canceled were proposed for the first time.
