Progress on Animal Models of Scleroderma and Its Application

Scleroderma is characterized by tissue fibrosis,obliterative microangiopathy and immune abnormalities.The pathogenesis of scleroderma remains uncertain.It is important to establish animal model of scleroderma for elucidating the pathogenesis and treatment.This article reviewed the current understanding of the animal models of scleroderma and their role in research.
