Battery cooling system and battery module with a meandering heat exchanger through which cooling medium flows

The invention relates to a battery cooling system with a heat exchanger (16) through which a cooling medium flows, for cooling a battery module (10) having a plurality of flat, spaced parallel battery cells (14). The invention further relates to such a battery module (10) with a heat exchanger (16) through which a cooling medium flows. According to the invention, the heat exchanger (16) through which the cooling medium flows meanders through gaps between adjacent battery cells (14) of the battery module (10) and lies flat against surfaces of the adjacent battery cells (14).
