There were researched the anatomical and morphological characteristics of the roots of Rumex ( Rumex confertus Willd., Polygonaceae ). There were shown for Rumex confertus roots as the diagnostic characteristics the sclereids with yellow color and the particularities of the localization of anthracenderivatives.
