Sem studies in the fruit morphology of the genus Cyperus (Cyperaceae)

The micromorphological features of the pericarp of fruits of 13 species of the genus Cyperus (Cyperaceae) have been investigated. The pericarp shows reticulate/ papillate ornamentation of various types which is species specific and helpful in taxonomical and ecological interpretations.
