A propósito de un caso de eosinofilia: manejo práctico en atención primaria

2012
Eosinophilia is a common analytical disturbance in clinical practice and has a variety of aetiologies. Family physicians must be able to determine whether it is a benign finding or a serious disease. It is important to take a thorough clinical history and perform a physical examination for the correct differential diagnosis, as well as using the appropriate treatment guidelines specific to each cause. This is a case report of a man who presented with severe diarrhea and a laboratory finding of eosinophilia and his diagnosis and outcome.
