Merger of parametric magnetic resonance and ultrasound images

2013
Parametric magnetic resonance and ultrasound images are merged or combined. MRI and ultrasound imaging are applied to detect parametric images of the same type (30, 32). By combining parametric ultrasound and MRI data at points in time for which both types of data are available, merged data is generated (44). Rather than to accept losses in the frame rate, are for times for which no MRI data is collected, merged data generated (44). A curve representing the values of the parameter as a function of time is adapted to the available MRI and ultrasound data of each place, resulting merged data at times result for which no MRI data is available.
