Modalidad virtual en una disciplina en la carrera de Medicina en tiempos de pandemia: percepción de los estudiantes. Virtual mode in a discipline in the Medicine career in times of pandemic: students' perception.

espanol COVID-19 ha irrumpido en la vida de los ciudadanos del mundo obligando a la cuarentena. La Educacion Superior no fue ajena a este fenomeno. Lo presencial se transformo en virtual. La vision de los estudiantes es importante en este escenario. Se realizo un estudio observacional, descriptivo cuantitativo y cualitativo a los estudiantes de Microbiologia y Parasitologia de la carrera de Medicina de la Universidad Nacional de Villa Maria, provincia de Cordoba; Argentina; con el objeto de conocer su opinion respecto de esta mudanza drastica y saber sobre las dificultades percibidas. Los mayores obstaculos fueron: 24,2 % sobrecarga de actividades, 16,5 % carencia de contacto con los docentes, 13,2 % no tener claridad en los objetivos del curso; 4,4 % falta de tiempo, 3,3 % miedo a fracasar, 3,3 % ausencia de clases practicas, 2,2 % trabajar y estudiar al mismo tiempo. Como aspectos positivos de esta modalidad se rescato: 37,83 % disponibilidad de tiempo para ordenarse, organizarse y poder estudiar a su ritmo; 32,43 % entrega de los docentes y organizacion de la Institucion ante esta crisis; 10,81 las clases teoricas grabadas son una buena herramienta para acreditar; 9,45 % resalto cambios de conducta, aprendizajes de nuevas herramientas para estudiar y 6,75% auto aprendizaje. 12,16 % no rescato ningun aspecto positivo. Es importante diagnosticar la percepcion de los discentes en este contexto para evitar dificultades a la hora de disenar y acreditar tales espacios curriculares. EnglishCOVID-19 has broken into the lives of the world’s citizens, forcing to quarantine. Higher Education was no stranger to this phenomenon. The face-to-face became virtual. Students’ vision is important in this setting. An observational, descriptive, quantitative and qualitative study was carried out for Microbiology and Parasitology students from the Medicine career at the National University of Villa Maria, Cordoba province; Argentina; in order to know their opinion regarding this drastic move and to know about the perceived difficulties. The main obstacles were: 24.2% overload of activities, 16.5% lack of contact with teachers, 13.2% not being clear on the course objectives; 4.4% lack of time, 3.3% fear of failure, 3.3% absence of practical classes, 2.2% working and studying at the same time. The positive aspects of this modality were: 37.83% availability of time to organize, organize and study at their own pace; 32.43% delivery of teachers and organization of the Institution in the face of this crisis; 10,81% recorded theoretical classes are a good tool to prove; 9.45% highlighted behavioral changes, learning new tools to study and 6.75% self-learning. 12.16% did not rescue any positive aspect. It is important to diagnose the perception of the students in this context to avoid difficulties when designing and accrediting such curricular spaces.
