The CarDio process for the production of high-quality slabstock foams with liquid carbon dioxide has proved successful in industrial applications. Now the problems of metering and mixing liquid carbon dioxide have been solved for batch operation as well. The process resulting from this permits environmentally-friendly production of PU foam moulded parts.
