The invention provides a magnesium alloy microarc ion plating surface treatment method which comprises the steps of surface cleaning pretreatment, microarc oxidation treatment, microarc ion plating treatment and nano anti-fingerprint oil spray treatment. The method specifically comprises the following steps: carrying out surface cleaning pretreatment on a magnesium alloy surface, carrying out microarc oxidation treatment on the pretreated magnesium alloy surface, carrying out microarc ion plating coating treatment to obtain the finished products with different colors, and spraying a transparent nano anti-fingerprint oil layer on the finished product as a protective film. The magnesium alloy microarc ion plating surface treatment method provided by the invention has the advantages of simple operating technique and environment friendliness. The obtained coating provides diversity for the magnesium alloy product surface appearance, enhances the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the product, and enables the product to have favorable metallic sensation.
