The artemisinin derivatives include dihydroartemisinin, artemether, arteether or artesunate. Further, the artemisinin or the artemisinin derivatives re dissolved in an organic solvent, polyvinylpyrrolidone is added, heating is performed for dissolution, and a solid dispersion is obtained after drying. The artemisinin and the artemisinin derivatives are prepared into the solid dispersions, the shortcoming of poor water solubility of the raw material medicines the artemisinin and the artemisinin derivatives (the dihydroartemisinin, the artemether, the arteether and the artesunate) can be overcome, and the artemisinin and the artemisinin derivatives have the very good treating effect on the benign prostatic hyperplasia and the alopecia and have the potential clinical application value on the aspect of preparation of the drugs for treating the benign prostatic hyperplasia and the alopecia.
