Facial conditions of the formation of oxide ores in the World Ocean

2011
This work is an analysis of the layered structure of ferromanganese concretions (FMC) from the Clarion-Clipperton ore province and Co-rich manganese from guyots of the Magellan seamounts, study of microtextures, detection and interpretation of accessory minerals, which allowed us to establish that the formation of deposits of oxide ores, was accompanied by active intraplate volcanism and the formation of sulfide structures, such as black smokers.
