Meso-damage research of composites

Meso-damage research method of composites is a new subject which studies microstructure damage and evolution through micro cell,and deduces material macro mechanical properties through volume average of micromechanical results when the meso-damage variables reached the threshold values.Comparison can be made between meso-damage simulation results and meso-damage theory analysis results and the trend is the combination of the two methods.In order to offer reference for related researches,the paper reviewed the recent development of meso-damage theory from two aspects of theoretical research and finite element researches of composites.
