Orthostatic Tilt Responses of Young Men and Women in Relation to Physical Characteristics
1988
An orthostatic tilt table stress of 20 min was given to 46 young men and 25 women, belonging to an age group of 15-24 years. Only 2 men and 1 woman were withdrawn from the test after completing 10 min of the test. Both male and female groups show almost similar orthostatic responses but the women had higher orthostatic heart rate and lower orthostatic blood pressure than those of the men
