Effects of constant magnetic fields on wound healing.

2010
Objective:To study the effects of constant magnetic fields on wound healing of different surgeries, random, blind, contrasting clinic research was performed. Methods:Surgical patients were divided into two groups by means of random number table:120 cases in the control group and 140 cases in the magtnetic group. The patients all knew the fact and agreed. Each of magnetic group was bound up with 0.2 T magnetic flakes. However, the control group were bound up without flakes. After 3 months, the time and quality standard of wound healing were examined. Results:The magnetic group showed better healing of sutured wound than the control(P0.01).No significant difference was observed among different surgeries (P0.01).Conclusion:The constant magnetic fields, with wide indications, are easy to use in clinical nursing, which can be provide a new method for the application of magnetic therapy.
