A genome, and to identify the cotton A sub-genome chromosomes method Full

2014
The present invention is in the field of molecular cytogenetics, in particular, to a method for cotton A A genomic or subgenomic chromosome identification. BAC clones were derived from Gossypium barbadense pima-90BAC library 299N22, performed in different species. BAC-FISH may be clearly distinguished cotton A A genomic or subgenomic chromosome. In this BAC clone as a probe on the A genome chromosomes subgenomic A tetraploid chromosome 5 and two diploid Gossypium Cotton both showed significant signal, and the signal is distributed over all the chromosomes, in D D genomic and subgenomic chromosome no signal. With the present invention using the BAC clones BAC-FISH method, a rapid identification of genomic or A full set of chromosomes due to the A subunit.
