Practice And Perspectives Of Estimation Of The Marine Fields Exploitation On Avifauna

The aim of this work is to discuss separate ecological monitoring aspects which accompany the oil-gas exploitation on the Arctic shelf including existing practice of environmental impact assessment (EIA) preparation and carrying out public hearings on EIA. The major stress in this case is made on the estimation of impact to which the avifauna of the oil field exploration area is subjected. Some more general problems are also tackled.
