A PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION ON CHEMICAL EVOLUTION OF THE QINGHAI-LAKE WATER, CHINA

Qinghai Lake is located in the northeastern part of Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Plateau, and it is a typical continental brackish-water lake. This note is principally based on the field observations and experimental results in laboratory since 1989 and refers to some information of the Sino-Swiss cooperative research on paleoclimate change for the Qinghai Lake area in 1985—1987.
