Reality augmenting method and system

The invention provides a reality augmenting method and system. The reality augmenting method comprises the steps of acquiring real scene images shot by a mobile terminal and the geographic position of the mobile terminal, matching the real scene images with images in a preset image base, acquiring multimedia information of the real scene images according the geographic position if the rear scene images are successfully matched with the images in the preset image base, sending the multimedia information to the mobile terminal and combining and displaying the multimedia information and the real scene images through the mobile terminal. The reality augmenting method can combine image recognition with the geographic position to obtain the final multimedia information to improve the matching accuracy of reality. Furthermore, the real scene images shot by the mobile terminal are generally images searched by a user, and the purpose that the shot images are the images needed by the user is achieved. In addition, the mobile terminal can simultaneously display the real scene images and the multimedia corresponding to the real scene images to enhance displaying effects.
