The problems of international economic competitiveness as a result of trade liberalization of Mexico w ith other countries we have been faced with a major challenge in higher education, and that the market demands a professional to face and solve the problems of the various sectors, industrial, commercial, social, et c.. In the particular case of the formation of professionals e ngineering area, there is the disadvantage that the traditional teaching methods lack of significant learning for s tudents, having to do with science basic and applyi ng them in solving engineering problems or these related to ot her sciences. Therefore, cross-learning are require d in the curriculum, to develop in students the ability to i ntegrate knowledge from different areas academic to solve a problem and propose models with optimal operation processes. This goal can be achieved by introducing and workshops generalized integrators, forming part of the curriculum in levels or higher semesters. This with the purpose of inducing the student to meaningful learn ing, research, collaborative work with students or other academic professionals and develop the ability to l earn to work multidisciplinary way.
