Análisis de la importancia de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidasen el ámbito universitario: diferencias entre la perspectiva personal y empresarial

2020
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are considered the most important framework for action to combat the great remnants of sustainability facing economies worldwide. However, this framework for action has received little attention in the educational field, specifically in the university context. The purpose of this research work is to analyze the degree of importance that university students confer on each of the 17 SDGs. Specifically, a sample of 94 students from the subject of Management and Management Skills from the University of Almeria was used, who made a ranking according to the level of importance given to 18 items: the 17 SDGs and another objective of an economic nature. The respondents made this ranking from two different perspectives: personal perspective and business perspective. Our results reveal that the perspective used has a significant impact on the importance ranking carried out. Therefore, from this work there are relevant implications for the effective integration of the SDGs in subjects or curricula at the university level.
