Analisi dei dati relativi al controllo ufficiale per la ricerca dei residui di fitofarmaci in prodotti di origine vegetale, effettuato in Italia nel 1997 : indicazioni per programmare l'attività di controllo

an analysis of the data regarding the official monitoring for the identification of pesticide residues in products of vegetable origin carried out in Italy in 1997 is presented, with indications for programming monitoring activities. In particular: a) the percentage composition of the sampling undertaken is compared with reference to the Italian diet as regards fruit and vegetables; b) on the basis of the Percentage of presence of Residues (PpR) the pesticides most frequently revealed in the most carefully examined fruit and vegetable products are highlighted; c) the active substances which most frequently led to samples failing to comply with regulations are listed. Finally, a classification list of the active substances in plant protection products most frequently revealed in products of vegetable origin is presented.
