Aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of metal dental prostheses made using wireframes Cobalt alloy and Cobalt alloy of gold-coated zirconium periodontal condition. Materials research is the result of orthopedic treatment of 94 patients aged 21 to 50 years (50 men and 44 women). Conducted clinical and radiographic dynamic, index and biochemical methods for assessing the status of periodontal tissues. Clinical evaluation of patients was performed according to the standard scheme, including an analysis of complaints, history taking, physical examination, study of plaster models of jaws, teeth and jaws radiography. The study proved that the use of metal prostheses with elements skeletons Cobalt alloy, not coated ceramics, leads to an increase in periodontal inflammation indicators ( papillary – marginal – alveolar index 2.3 times the amount of gingival fluid 2.04 times). Application of metal prostheses with gold – coated zirconium alloy Cobalt does not cause significant manifestation of pathological changes in the periodontium. Application of composite gold-coating is an effective method of prevention of pathological influence of dentures on the periodontium.
