Description of the degradation process for defective thin-walled pipeline systems by the Markovian model of pure destruction

A phenomenological approach is used to describe the degradation process in multipurpose thin-walled pipeline systems with corrosion defects, which lead to system failure according to the rupture criteria. The Markovian process model with continuous time and discrete states is used.
