Retomar la informalidad. Un abordaje de su dimensión política

Este articulo analiza desde un plano teorico la cuestion de la informalidad. Especifica-mente se propone explorar la dimension politica que se inscribe en el binomio formali-dad/informalidad. Con este objetivo primeramente se remitira a los estudios sobre mar-ginalidad, entendiendo que constituyen un antecedente central del problema en cuestion. Seguidamente se ingresara en la nocion de informalidad propiamente dicha, para llegar a la cuestion de la informalidad politica. Este aspecto hara necesaria una remision a los poderes estatales y su estatuto en torno a la demarcacion de los umbrales del binomio. Posteriormente se rastrearan los solapamientos entre lo formal y lo informal en el "mun-do popular". Luego se revisaran dos nociones que pretenden asir el espacio de intersec-cion referido, estas son "estado de excepcion" y "zona gris". Finalmente se evaluaran las potencias y los limites de estas nociones. Palabras claves Informalidad; Marginalidad; Clientelismo; Zona gris; Estado de excepcion. Revisiting informality. Towards a political approach Abstract This contribution explores the question of informality from a theoretical point of view, aiming to study the political aspect of the pair formality/informality. To this end, firstly we will refer to studies about marginalization, taking into consideration that they are a main precedent to the issue. Secondly, the notion of informality itself will be introduced, attending to propose a political understanding of the notion. This will require directing the attention to the state powers and their regulations regarding the lines of demarcation between the elements of the pair. Later, the overlapping between formality and informality will be traced in the "popular world". The notions of "state of exception" and "gray zone" will be studied next, since they aim to grasp said area of intersection. Finally, the potential and limitation of those concepts will be assessed.
