The invention provides a filtering material for the metallization of non-woven base fabrics for medium/high temperature and a preparation method of the filtering material. The filtering material comprises a non-woven fabric, namely a base fabric, and a surface layer, wherein the non-woven base fabric and the surface layer are fixed through needling, and both surfaces of the non-woven base fabric are coated with two or more layers of metal. The preparation method of the filtering material comprises the procedures of carrying out baking, physical deoiling, pretreatment and metal layer coating on the non-woven base fabric, needling with a non-woven surface layer raw material and typing. The anti-electrostatic filtering material prepared by the preparation method has the advantages of good static electricity preventing property, good uniformity, high-temperature resistance, good binding force and the like, and can be applied to the medium-/high-temperature dust removal of the fields of garbage incineration, thermal power generation, cement, iron and steel, chemical industry, metallurgy and the like.
