Independent metal tip defect model for partial discharge test of gas insulated switchgear (GIS)

2012
The utility model discloses an independent metal tip defect model for a partial discharge test of a GIS. The model comprises an upper polar plate, a lower polar plate, an insulation cylinder and a steel pin, wherein the upper polar plate, the lower polar plate and the insulation cylinder form a tank for storing high-pressure SF6 gas, the upper polar plate is fixed on the upper end face of the insulation cylinder, the lower polar plate is fixed on the lower end face of the insulation cylinder, and the upper polar plate and the lower polar plate are perpendicular to the central axis of the insulation cylinder; and the tail of the steel pin is fixed with the upper polar plate, the tip point of the steel pin faces vertically towards the lower polar plate, and the steel pin and the lower polar plate form a pin plate structure. According to the model, the high-pressure SF6 gas equivalent to the GIS entity can be born, electric field distortion caused by the metal tip defect in the solid GIS is simulated, and the model has the advantages that the starting voltage for discharge is low, the interval of the pin plate is adjustable, the discharge process is visualized, and the like.
