Determining constants of decomposition of initiators in the polymer phase during polymerization of vinyl chloride

Abstract Quantitative ratios were derived to describe polymerization kinetics of vinyl chloride in the polymer phase with constant composition. Using a special device in a wide range of temperature and phase composition, rate constants of decomposition were measured in the polymer phase of some initiators extensively used in the production of polyvinyl chloride and a relation established between this value and phase composition.
