Computer starting system and method

Disclosed is a computer starting system. The computer starting system comprises a transfer module, an installing module and an executing module, wherein the transfer module is used for, when the system disk of a computer is initialized, transferring the master boot record and the partition information which are stored by the master boot sector of the system disk into the hidden sector of the system disk; the installing module is used for installing a prestored verification program into the master boot sector and starting the verification program, and when receiving a preset identification code, the verification program executes the master boot record and the partition information of the hidden sector so as to start the computer; the executing module is used for instructing the embed controller of the computer to provide the preset identification code; meanwhile, the executing module is also used for inputting the preset identification code into the verification program when receiving the preset identification code provided by the embedded controller to start the computer through the verification program. The invention also provides a computer starting method. The computer starting system and method can achieve effective management over use safety of the computer.
