Developing of pragmatic models of the ponderomotive interactions in magnetodynamic installations for aluminum alloys MDN-6A

2015
In this study the methods and device for “in real time mode” measurements of ponderomotive interactions, created in the working area of MDI by the volumetric electromagnetic forces is developed and tested. The pragmatic models of the ponderomotive interactions and electromagnetic force/pressure (fem/pem) , in dependence from voltages (Uind, Uem) sup-plied on the coils of inducers and electromagnet has been studied and developed. Shown, that real efficiency T-shaped WA of MDI EM-pump makes 8÷12%, and inefficient losses and redistributions of the total volumetric electromagnetic force and created by it dynamic pressure makes up to 76%, that for seriously modernization of existing WA geometry is required. In addition, the value and dependence of the ponderomotive interactions, caused by the normal constituent of the AC (I) in the channel with magnetic field of inducer has been estimated and for dynamic control and improving of melt heating processes and stirring in induction furnaces and existing MDI can be applied.
