Preparation and optical properties of nanosilicon/P3HT composite films

2013
The nanosilicon/P3HT composite films were grown by plasmas-enhanced chemical vapor deposition and spin-coating techniques. The microstructure and optical properties of the composite films have been characterized by Raman scattering,ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)spectroscopy and photoluminescence(PL)spectra. The results showed that hydrogen could effectively passivate the defects in the Si films and the crystalline fraction increases with increasing hydrogen flux. The characterization of optical absorption spectra showed that the composite films exhibited the enhanced UV-adsorption capacity. The photoluminescence spectrum displayed that there were strong interaction between P3HT and nanosilicon. The physical mechanism affecting the PL behavior was also discussed.
