The 12C(d, n)13N reaction between Ed = 7.0 and 13.0 MeV

Abstract Absolute differential cross sections for the n 0 , n 1 and n 2 + n 3 neutron groups from the reaction 12 C(d, n) 13 N have been measured at incident deuteron energies of 7.0, 9.1 and 13.0 MeV along with an excitation curve at θ lab = 25° from E d = 10.6 to 13.0 MeV. Analysis of energy-averaged cross sections included DWBA calculations and Hauser-Feshbach statistical model calculations. Spectroscopic factors and Hauser-Feshbach reduction factors are obtained and compared to previously reported values.
