The commonly used test method for evaluation of the thermal stability for the black iron oxide is to observe the colour changes at the scattering light visually,which will frequently cause unsatisfactory results The author now suggested the use of colour difference meter to determine the colour space for the evaluation of thermal stability of black iron oxide,increasing the realiability of the test results
