БИОЛОГИЧЕСКАЯ СТРУКТУРА И ПРОДУКТИВНОСТЬ ЭПИПЕЛАГИЧЕСКОГО ЗВУКОРАССЕИВАЮЩЕГО СЛОЯ (ЗРС) В СВЯЗИ С ЦИРКУЛЯЦИЕЙ И ДИНАМИКОЙ ВОД ВОСТОЧНО-ЭКВАТОРИАЛЬНОЙ АТЛАНТИКИ

Biological structure of SDL in different regions of the eastern tropical Atlantics was considered. Two types of SDL are distinguished: the first type mainly consisting of tunicates and crustaceans is formed near water rise; the second type, consisting mainly of mesopelagic fishes, is formed in the regions of convergences. Total biomass of organisms in SDL varies within 5.8-52.4 kg per hour of trawling. The dependence between the degree of development of epipelagic SDL and distribution of Schenoteyths pteropus is found.
