Concerning the fascination of Wang Yi-sheng in King of Chess , ordinany critics and rdaders will concentrate on the appreciating the features of the Daoist culture on him. On this basis, this paper attempts to winkle out another aesthetic aspect, namely, chivalrous image and chivalous features of the hero given by the writer, A-cheng. As a matter of fact, Wang Yi-sheng embodies Tao culture and Chivalrous culture.
