A remote monitoring (RMON) agent allows system management tools access to subnets that they are not immediately connected to. The RMON Agent must be capable of processing many packets with various protocols, both destined and not destined for the RMON Agent. This document describes the necessary components of a fully remotely-configurable RMON Agent of OS/2.
