They were plotted early in the XX Century, two thousand metres North of the French railway company main station. The urban structure had hardly gone beyond the station’s boundaries when the urbanization process began to develop discontinuously over those plots. The Company’s railway workshops, which were installed 2 KM from the station played a decisive role in that urban expansion.
