Software Testing Productivity Measurement

Software testing is sizeable activity in software development lifecycle. In fact this niche skill has become so important that there are specialized companies in this area. As it is important but not core activity for the end customer, the outsourcing primarily for testing has happened in big way. The software testing includes various activities from test case design, development, test execution to bug fixes and specialized testing like test automation, performance testing etc. However measuring the performance of software test team is a challenge.
