Non-glue cotton nonwoven filtering material and its preparation method

The invention provides to a method for preparing a flame retardant, waterproof, oil repellent, and soil-releasing non-glue cotton nonwoven filtering material with flame retardant polyester staple fibers of different ignition points through a nonwoven non-glue hot melt technology. The preparation process comprises the steps of: (1) raw material proportioning and selection; (2) non-glue hot melt technology; (3) one step method of hot-melt spraying finishing. The obtained non-glue cotton nonwoven filtering material has good flame retardation which can be stable and lasting and can meet the national standard (GB/T17591-2006). Free of formaldehyde, peculiar smell and toxicity, the non-glue filtering cotton material of the invention is safe and environmentally friendly for use, and has waterproof, oil repellent, and soil-releasing functions which can effectively improve the material surface cleanliness and reduce stains, thus endowing the material with good ventilation and air permeability, easy cleaning, durable service, and substantially extended service life. Therefore, the non-glue cotton nonwoven filtering material provided in the invention boasts wide application.
