Design of the Testing Software System for Front End Electronic Modules in LHAASO WCDA

As an important part of LHAASO (Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory), WCDA (Water Cerenkov Detector Array) includes 350 FEE (Front-End Electronics) modules, which are distributed over a 78000-m2 area. In WCDA FEEs, both charge and time measurement results are acquired and transferred to the DAQ (Data Acquisition System). This testing software system is designed to provide a convenient automatic test platform, which supports simultaneous testing of multiple FEEs. This paper presents the design and implementation of the software.
