Alpha-particle decay widths of T = 32 states in 19F

Abstract The 15 N( α , α 0 ) 15 N reaction in a windowless gas target has been used to study three virtual T = 3 2 levels in 19 F. Resonances were identified by their γ-decay schemes, and yield curves of elastically scattered α-particles were collected at three angles. The yield curves were analysed by Breit-Wigner theory and values of Γ α were extracted. The results are discussed in the framework of isospin mixing.
