Embedded File Systems for Large-scale Flash Memory

A new file system devising page-unit storage format for files is proposed. A benefit-cost algorithm for garbage collection considerin temporal locality and wear leveling is also presented. Measurements demonstrate that contrasting with JFFS2, this file system improves garbag collection efficiency and system performance while reducing the footprint and leveling the worn-out.
