Effects of Seed Soaking with Zinc Sulfate on Yield and Quality of Potato

Under field conditions,the effects of seed soaking with Zinc Sulfate on potato growth and development,and yield and quality were studied.Seed soaking with suitable concentration of Zinc Sulfate could accelerate potato growth and development,and increase potato yield and improve quality.However,overuse of zinc nutrition would have negative effects.Among the treatments,the yield of potato with 0.05% Zinc Sulfate soaking seeds increased significantly,and the eating and commodity qualities of potato with 0.10% Zinc Sulfate soaking seeds were the best.So the effects of seed soaking with Zinc Sulfate concentration from 0.05% to 0.10% were obvious under the soil condition of this experiment.
