O estudo da indução eletromagnética por meio de um produto educacional com base no funcionamento de turbinas eólicas para gerar energia elétrica.

2018
Experimentation is a very attractive teaching methodology, since it turns possible to exemplify the studied subjects in concrete terms. However, it is also important to adapt those subjects regarding the student environment, taking regionalism and available resources into account. This work presents an alternative tool for physics teaching, contributing to the research on experimentation in the classroom, using open and closed laboratories models as methodological strategies. It was proposed the construction of an educational object, based on power generation wind turbines, to assist the studies on the theories and concepts that govern Faraday’s Electromagnetic Induction phenomena. The research, of an explicative nature, collected qualitative data by means of observations about the experimental operation, exposing relationships between practice and theory, about errors associated to the construction of the object, and about the best experimental setup.Three wind turbine models were constructed for the educational object and, after an analysis of the results, the last model was selected as the one that best fits the project proposal. From this, it is concluded that using fundamental resources to the society, such as the generation of electric energy, for the teaching of sciences, are an excellent strategy for the teaching of physics.
