Investigations of high conductivity of dipyranylidene and dithiadipyranylidene — TCNQ complexes

New complexes with DIP ϕ4 or DIPS ϕ4 as donors and TCNQ as an acceptor have been synthetized. Single crystals exhibit high conductivity along the needle axis at room temperature : 40 (Ωcm)−1 for 1 and 250 (Ωcm)−1 for 2. X-ray analysis, temperature dependences of conductivity, susceptibility and relaxation time T1 for both complexes are reported.
