Two Notes on German Vocabulary

In a recent copy of the German Quarterly, Vol. XXIV, May 1951, No. 3 is an interesting and very timely article by Kurt Keppler entitled "Some Inaccuracies in German-English Dictionaries." There are a couple of words which I suggest be added to Mr. Keppler's list inasmuch as they are so prone to be misunderstood by students engaged in the first steps of dealing with the extensive vocabulary of the German.
